Our production mechanic training programme begins on 1 September 2008.

This is a three year training programme which includes an intermediate examination approximately after 1.5 years, and concludes with a final examination.
Minimum prerequisite is a certificate with good marks from a secondary modern school.

Training schedule:

• 1 year training workshop: acquisition of basic skills in metal working
• 1/2 year in-house progression through the departments, e.g. tool design and construction, research & development, quality assurance, draughting office
• 1/2 year basic and advanced courses on the subject areas
  • Control and feedback control engineering (SPS)
  • CNC engineering
  • Welding
  Preparation for the intermediate examination
• 1.5 years specialization in the relevant field
• Final examination held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Kiel
